Kate Marron has been in the health & fitness industry for over 15 years. She entered college as a Dance major attending RWU and then Emerson College. She then decided to change paths to link her 2 passions (fitness/dance) together. In 2003, she graduated from UMASS Boston with a BS in Exercise Physiology and a Minor in dance. In 2001, she became a full-time employee at Harvard University, where she worked for several years as the swim, fitness and program manager along as a personal trainer, and group exercise instructor. She has also consulted corporate wellness programs for businesses & new facilities. She has several specialty certifications along with pre/post-natal, special populations and has been teaching "barre" since 2002, before it was a "thing".
Kate is a mom of 2, girl & boy toddlers and is so excited to be a part of the Village community! As all parents known it sure takes a village! When she's not teaching, you can find her spending time with her loving family. Kate's motto is "It all starts from the inside, out... Live Healthy & Love your body".
