Kristina is trained through the Equinox Training Institute and the Peak Pilates program in the Classical Method. A bit of a purist but open to the evolution of anatomical discovery, she brings bits and pieces of different fitness disciplines from her own trainings into each of her classes. Each class or private lesson she instructs is designed to educate and challenge each student; enhancing muscle memory so that every movement in class is a baseline for how you move outside of the studio or your home.
For Kristina teaching Pilates was not, and will never be, about jumping on the fast-moving, wellness industry train. It is a true passion. She's continuously learning and graduating to a new level in her own practice. She's proof in the Pilates puddin'. It's kept her strong through pregnancy and in mommyhood. It helped her heal after injury and surgery. It keeps her feeling long and flexible in an ever changing and aging body and well...It's actually fun!
In between classes Kristina is soaking up time with her baby girl, hubs and their pibble, working on her "whole-listic" blog, managing social media clients, adventuring with family and friends, and aspiring to be Martha Stewart (at least around the holidays).
