Leslie Blangiforti has managed, written and developed fitness programs at multiple facilities in the Greater Boston and North Shore areas while working in the fitness industry for over a decade. Leslie’s philosophy is you don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great! Her dedication to fitness, ability to find amazing instructors and classes that are designed to make you sweat will show you that you won’t get a “mamas workout” at the Village!
She recognized her love for fitness at the age of 16, falling in love with running and group fitness classes. She quickly learned exercise empowered both her mind and her body, and has always helped her get through challenging times. As a result, she went on to make a career out of her passion, attending UMass Boston and gaining certifications in both personal training and group fitness coaching. She and her staff strive to improve the fitness level of each member, regardless of age, skill, or limitations. She started as a personal trainer, then moved onto management, where she enjoys having an input to make a difference in the facilities she's committed to.
Leslie's favorite formats to teach are Cardio Kickboxing, TRX, Tabata, Contact Boxing, Sports Conditioning, Strength Training, and Bootcamp style classes. She has a personal training certification through NFPT, NASM fundamentals, PNF stretching workshop, Balance Point Barre certification, Reaction Cycling, Contact Boxing Level 1, and AFAA Group Exercise.
Through the union of these specialties, Leslie is able to keep her clients sweating, smiling and walking away feeling like they gave it their best. After all, improvement is empowering!
